Well, day before yesterday, while I was running, I fell a pain in the left buttock. It was then really bad yesterday, could barely sit down. It only travels down mid thigh. I read some on internet (what did we do before google?
) and decided to do NSAIDS and warm heat. Well it's about 50% better today. The Docs I work with (GI department, so they were all talking out of the side of their mouth) said it sounds like sciatica pain and for me not to run for 6 weeks. 6 WEEKS?
I was planning on doing my 1st 5K at the end of this month. What a bummer.
So, has anyone had this? What is usually the treatment? Do you think walking and yoga will be okay this week?
Thanks for any help, I am really freaking. I got all the way to W6 of the C25K and I really don't want postpone finishing unless it's absolutely necessary.
