Help, School Project!

My son has to make a replica of the Bodie Lighthouse. I thought about using a styrofoam cone and putting sculpti clay around it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I agree with rvoto. We have made all kinds of thingd this way and then painted it..

I'm not sure what that lighthouse looks like but if you have a Micael's near you they have some wooded lighthouse that you can paint. They were just getting them in last week. Might be cheating a little but they were very nice.

He is doing the Bodie lighthouse in NC. I did go to Michael's and bought one that looks somewhat similar. He just has to paint it. I am so relieved!

Thanks for all of the ideas. I want to be crafty but it just isn't in me!
