I'm losing sleep over this one. We know we can send down gifts in advance, but the troubling part is that we will be staying in a studio unril Xmas day. Where do I store the gifts until they are needed and how do I get them into the room w/o waking the children?

1) Take the kids out and hide the gifts in the bathtub or closet, then set them out quietly while they are asleap.
2) Check and see if there is a way to have christmas in community hall.
3) Hire a santa to deliver your gifts at wakeup time and claim they caught santa as he drops his bag and scurries out.

Good luck.....spruce

Could Santa leave his "sack of presents" on the balcony? Tell them that was his only option since the studio didn't have a fireplace....

Maybe they could even leave cookies and milk out there for him - I'm sure the squirrels would eat them. :)

Maybe you could make friends with a neighbor and ask them to hold them 'til after hey go to sleep? (A stretch - I realize...)

Maybe santa will bring you a grand villa for Christmas and then even you can be surprised! You know, you wake up and breakfast is already being served in that big Dining room and 12 of your best friends are there and Disney's Santa has left 12 seven day park hoppers for your party.

One year we had the Easter gifts hid in my suitcase and we had melted chocolate bunnies and a very upset child!

Good luck with your surprise!

Of course, the easiest is to have them packed in a suitcase that you don't open. Next easiest might be to pack a duffel bag (empty) and put the gifts that you have shipped into that duffel bag. Of course, for $59 a night you could get a room at All Stars to hold your gifts!! Good luck!

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions. While I like nuthut's idea the best, I fear even Santa doesn't have enough points for a Grand Villa during Premier Season. (Rumor has it that Mrs. Claus and 11 elves used all the points for for a Grand Villa at Vero Beach during Spring Break.) Anyway, we've come up with a solution. Santa's helper is going to take the kids to the pool while Santa goes and gets the package, places its contents in to an empty suitcase and puts the suitcase in the closet. As for getting the kids to go to sleep, that was a pretty simple solution as well. We're going to wear them out by taking them to Aninal Kingdom at 8am and then end the day with Illuminations at 9:30. Unfortunately, that's going to wear the kids' parents out as well. Thanks again. Now, you can solve my next problem. Since we're going down to Vero Beach the next day (1 BR yeah), where are we going to get groceries ion Xmas day? A Walgreens is about the only place I can think of.

For the groceries, get all your non-perishables like cereal, bread, chips, etc. ahead of time and put them in the car. Then, the resort store at the lodge at Vero Beach should be open to get your milk , juice, soda. Whatever you don't get, you can purchase the next day at Publix.
