HELP! Room Selection!

My personal choice would be balcony or an inside stateroom. If I am saving money I want an inside, the only problem is if you are really claustrophobic. I am mildly claustrophobic but the inside storeroom are big enough that I have no problem.

If I can afford it, I really want a good view from my room with ocean noises and that requires a balcony.

We stayed in an oceanview and LOVED it. It was very magical seeing Castaway Cay come into view first thing in the morning. And while we were in port, we looked out and saw a giant sea turtle swim by and the boys were so excited to see "Crush." I'm not sure if the webcam "magic" porthole in the Disney dream would be quite the same experience for us.

I also think I would prefer 2. We were on 7, and while it was not a bad walk down the stairs a few floors to the dining, the five flights up to the pool deck was not super fun with tired kids in tow. If we were just adults though I wouldn't mind it. But we ended up taking the elevators to the pool pretty much every time, so I don't think it would make much of a distance being on 7 versus 2 for us, as both are just a few flights away from the dining and shows on 3 and 4.

We always book aft by the elevators. It seems easiest to get around. You are under the buffet and close to 2 of the restaurants. The mid ship elevators always seem to be busy.
