Help RN/ Starwood Experts!!!

Help, calling all experts! I have a reservation for October at the Dolphin using the nurse rate. My neighbors have decided to join us on the trip, and so I will need 2 more rooms in addition to my one. Before reserving the rooms, I called Starwood to inquire that even thought I was reserving 3 rooms, I would only have enough points to upgrade to club level ( I am saving up!) for one of the rooms, and was that okay? I was shocked when she told me I could not upgrade at all in advance to club level because I booked the room at such a discount, and that it had to be rack rates or rates available to the general public. I was shocked! Has anyone ever heard of this? She told me I might be able to get an updgrade at check in if it was available, but not before. HELP! please reply asap!!!!

I would call the dolphin directly, they are alot more hel[phful than the 800-starwood #. They also do some of there "own" rules. The RN discount being one of them, that is only at the s/d not through starwood. So try calling and talking to someone directly at the dolphin. Good luck, MKY (and I think you can book up to 3 rooms on the rn discount at a time.).
