Hello. I’m new to this forum and need some help. My husband and I were cleaning out our attic and he carefully packed away his collection of Disney Princess ceramic figures in a box, which I proceeded to drop. EVRYONE broke except for Snow White. He is crying and carrying on like a baby. I told him to man up and get over it, but this only made it worse. Can anyone direct me to a resource where I can try to replace his dolls? I tried to glue them back together but it didn’t work. He’s moping around and I’m worried about him. Thanks for any help!

Do you have any pictures of them... before they where broken :). Also have you tried Ebay?

No Nat, i don't; they were all different types but only the princesses. he was particularly fixated on Belle.

Sounds like they were the little figurines that are typically a few inches high (available at the Parks and, in the early '90s, at the Disney Store). These figurines show up frequently on eBay. Just go to the Disneyana section and do searches for each princess (i.e., Belle figurine, Belle porcelain, Belle ceramic). If you type in porcelain, you'll probably also bring up dolls since there are many doll designers who use porcelain. Still, it should enable you to track down most of his lost ladies.

Here is one current example:

As to his being upset, these probably represent memories for him. Perhaps they were a collection he started when he was a little guy. Seems silly to you but think of your own childhood collections and what they mean to you.
