help regarding points !

I am seeking information about the points. I looked on the points calculator, and it says I will need 45 points to stay at the Boardwalk in Oct. for 5 nights. I see there are points for $10 can I use those to purchase the Boardwalk as well? Or are their points higher? Thank You very much for your help.

Every rental transaction will be based on availability and whatever details you can work out with the member renting the reservation. At this time, points from any DVC resort may be used for reservations thru mid November, so any member can make a reservation- based on availability.

You may find that October reservations are somewhat limited since that's a popular time for DVC members to go to WDW.

You might want to post the resort, dates and room type you want on the Rent/Trade Board and see if a member can assist. You can also respond to an offer to rent posted by a member.
