I suffer from panic attacks and aniexty and ive already started to worry about the change in Lille.

Changing in London, doesnt seem to bother me (at the moment)
Maybe as im thinking that London is the last stop on the train and the First on the eurostar - therefore I dont have 2 minutes to jump on a train.

From what I understand of Lille, is that I will get off the Eurostar and onto a TGV.

Does the Eurostar end at Lille?

When I get to the "other" platform, Im assuming the train is coming from somewhere and therefore will pull into the station for minutes before leaving again? Anyone confirm this.

Also I read, make sure you get on the right side of the train - as 2 trains are often put together so you cant walk through the middle? Any idea how I will know where to get on - plus will i get seat numbers?

Where will I get my TGV ticket from? Is it my eurostar ticket? (everything has been booked with eurostar)

Lastly, is Disney the End station? If not does anyone know the stop before so I can prepare to get off!

Im basicly worried I will either miss the train..... get on the wrong one..... get off at the wrong station ..... or worse than that - do a Mr Bean and leave my 4 year old on the train, lol

Thanks:rolleyes:

We managed fine last March with our 2 toddlers, bags, buggy, husband getting stressed! The worst bit was getting all our stuff off before the Eurostar went again (ours was going to Brussels!! didn't want to wind up there! lol) but only as I was holding on to the babies whilst he was getting everything off!

Finding the platform and seats wasn't a problem. Lille station isn't huge and we found a friendly looking guard to wave our tickets under and they told us where our carriage was.

I don't think Disney was the final stop on the TGV so yes be prepared. There's announcements shortly before just the same as there would be here.

I was worried before we went too and it definitely wasn't as stressful as I thought it would be so don't worry you'll be fine :)

Don't worry- it's not as stressful as you think! Most Lille trains are going to Brussels but they stop for plenty of time for you to get off, with warning announcements so you can get ready

Your tgv tickets will be with the eurostar ones (ours were on the same eurostar ticket paper) and will give you a seat number. On the tgv platform at Lille is a sign showing where to stand for which carriage, so you can get ready in the right place. The guards are also helpful if you're confused! The trains have those digital displays saying where they are going also.

Disney- Marne la vallee- isn't the last stop but there will be an announcement. I think the stop before is Charles de Gaulle. You can see space mountain from the train if you are on the right side!

Hope that helps?

I was worried about this too but honestly you will be fine don't worry.

If all else fails, follow another family with excited children wearing Mickey ears. :)
