I read a thead ages ago that I cant seem to find now recommending a Mall that wasnt one of the Premium Outlets/ Mall Millennia/ Florida Mall or any of the usual ones.

Its apparently quieter and more locals are there than tourists but I can't for thelife of me remember the name.

With the limited info above can anyone suggest where it might be???

Thanks

Andrea xx

Altamonte Mall, on 436 in Altamonte Springs. 30-some miles north of the theme parks driving up I4

We used to go to Lake Buena Vista when we didn't drive and used Virgin Holidays coach trip. But last time we went to Premium outlets and found a bigger & better selection.

There is the mall of millennia off colonial and i4. A little more expensive shopping but also has other stores like ikea around it.

Thanks John we've been to both this trip and got some bargains in Adidas. It was unbelievably cheap!

We we went to mall near Clearwater and it was empty . Kids got lots of bargains in sportswear stores and me and dd had a splurge in pandora.

i'll have to research shopping in orlando for our big trip in 2017.
I usually save all my shopping for detroit when i visit my family (the prices there are insanely good), but for the big trip, i'm sure the rest of the family will want to shop (since they're not going to detroit with me).

i know my daughter will want to go to kohls. One of her favorite stores in america.
There must be at least one in orlando. Let me check.
I see the closest one to disney looks to be in kissimmee.
and i see from google maps that i pass a walmart on the way. So we can stop there too.
I wonder where costco is. Off to the map. Seems there's one near the mall of millenia.

gotta plan out their shopping experience. :)

i just noticed there's a kohls not too far from the altamonte mall....and also a costco.......
ohh...and a target too...and walmart.....maybe that's the direction we should drive!!

and there's a 7-11....clinched the deal...we can even get a slurpee!!

We like Altamonte. Went again last week. Lots of food places nearby (bahama breeze in the car park does happy hour 4-6 weekdays) and proper deals. Got DD a hollister hoodie for $10.

Takes maybe 20 mins from Universal.
