Help / Questions re: Modifying Southwest Flight

I have booked our flights on Southwest.
I booked the Web Only price.
I was told that if I see a lower price I can modify my reservation and choose the lower price seats.
I understand we don't get the difference back as it will be held as a credit.
Which is fine because it will get used up within the next year.

Questions:
How do I do this. I looked and have seen a place where it says to modifiy our reservations.

Can I choose the same flights at the cheaper price then I previously booked at...

Or DO I have to choose a different flight time?
i've the prices of our flights drop on alot of our trips but have never modified to save any money...didn't know it could be done!

You do not have to change the flight times...just click on your original, but now cheaper flights. it's pretty easy!

choose Change Flight

Enter Reservation Info

Confirmation Number
First Name
Last Name

Select Flights to Change

check boxes

hit Continue

Search For New Flights

from and to ...should not change

date .... probably the same

hit Select New Flight

Select FLights


any flight that meets your criteria can be selected

Hit Continue

The next page will tell you if you owe anything/have credit coming back


if you agree to this .....

you just hit

Continue

Just an FYI -I had to do this a few times recently, and got an OOPS! message when I tried. I called customer service, and they are very helpful. You can even leave your # and they call you back when it's your turn instead of holding. They are not supposed to book web only online, but if you've tried several times, and can't get it, they will help you. Just wanted to pass that on - hopefully w/pp directions above, it'll go smoothly for you.
