Three Things...Gratitude Thread

monitors- I have 3 which includes my laptop. Helps with efficiency.

Same here! I honestly don't know how I used to work with just one monitor. Now, I have three...including my laptop, but have another screen I COULD add into the mix if I had room to tether one more. DH recently got a large curved monitor that is about the size of two monitors. It might make me consider going back to two for myself.

Music - It's such a mood setter for me. I never really know what's going to do the trick (although, I do know what to avoid if I'm down).

Food - This one's sort of a blessing and a curse, but there's a reason why sweet treats and comfort foods are so popular. Yes, it's really easy to overdo it and have regrets with this sort of food, but bliss can also be found in a bowl of good mac & cheese and brain studies have shown things like chocolate to have positive impacts when consumed.

Shopping (and using what you bought) - A bit superficial, but retail therapy can perk me up. Even better when I get to use whatever it was that helped me shift my mood.

On my "desk" (I'm choosing my craft table for this one) -
1) pens/markers/colored pencils
2) paper trimmer - I use this a lot!
3) hole punches - I have a regular one, a 3-hole version for putting things in binders, and several fun shapes.

When I need cheering up -
1) music - Sometime I forget the power of just putting on some great tunes!
2) getting outside in the sunshine
3) rewatching comfort shows

My great-granddaughter. No one can be down when she smiles at you.
Watching live bird cams;
My dogs
Comfort food -- chicken noodle soup, mac & cheese, a sausage biscuit from McDonald's

Evening all,

^^ these 2 are a definite for me. Food, as much as I hate it, can really help cheer me up I just need to learn how not to overdo it. And I'm notoriously bad for shopping, especially buying expensive things I don't need!

My number 3 will be going out for a walk outside (when it's not raining). Just getting out into the fresh air and being able to walk, usually with upbeat music playing, really helps.
