Help put my mind at ease!

We are set to stay at the poly for our first time ever this September!!
I'm loving the look of the kids splash zone and just generally excited to be there!
I know there will be some construction still but I'm confident this will not break out trip.
My concern is the main pool. I know the quiet pool will be out of service when we are there. Is the main pool adequate for the size of the resort? I'm terrified that there won't be any room in or around the pool. Our entire trip is 17 days with 9 at poly so we have lots of resort time scheduled to enjoy the pool and resort.
We always stay at CBR and the pool is massive and call me crazy, I'm tempted to switch to there! We got the "magical labour day deal" so right now poly is the same price as CBR lol!!
Someone tell me the poly pool is adequate and I'm being crazy!

We've been staying at Poly since the 80s. In our recent experience, most guests use the main pool anyway - regardless of whether the quiet pool is open or not. We've been staying in either Samoa or Hawaii for the past few years, so we usually have a sense of crowds (or in the case of the quiet pool, lack of crowds) in both pools. Opinions will definitely differ regarding whether the main pool size is adequate (we think it's fine.) But based on our experience, I don't think the quiet pool closure will have a significant impact on the main pool, especially in September (which is relatively uncrowded anyway.) We've also stayed at CBR and for many reasons, I'd keep your reservation at Poly.

I wouldn't let the pool crowd keep you from staying there. We often go to WDW in the heat of summer but still find the popular pools enjoyable. If getting chairs is really important to your family just get there early and you should be able to find some. We really don't use chairs, normally we just throw our bags down anywhere we find a spot and get right in the water. I prefer to be in the water most of the time and then if we need to get out and go eat something we'll just go and come back. Finding chairs and trying to keep them really stresses me out. I have had many run-ins with psycho chair hogs and prefer to just avoid chairs at all cost. LOL

OK..You asked. You are crazy! Seriously..there is no way I would leave Poly to go to CBR. No way in the world. You will be more than happy. Relax.

Our family are HUGE fans of CBR and even I will say if you can stay at the Poly for the same $$$ as CBR, yes you would be crazy to switch.
