Help-Point Balance Confusion w/MS

My fear has always been that MS would show less points than my balance, not 72 points more than I calculate! I truly think it is their error but they insist their records are correct (spoke with 2 MS reps who checked with supervisor). MS is showing that we have 72 points that were transferred into our 8/09 use year that have to be used by 8/30/09 (the transfer points were 9/08 UY). We did transfer 100 points to 8/08 UY this year. We have multiple reservations and I recall several months ago that I noticed points were borrowed out of our 8/09 UY instead of using the transferred points into 8/08 UY. MS corrected the probllem and we are now correctly showing 147 points in our 8/09 use year on the website. At the end of the call today when I spoke with MS to cancel a day off of one our our ressies, I was told we have 75 points remaining in 8/08 use year which is correct and that we have 219 points in 8/09 UY in which 72 have to be used by 8/30/09. I tried to explain every which way I could that I thought I already used the 72 points and I also pointed out that the website correctly shows my 147 points and not 219 points. MS told me (twice) that the website does not show transferred points which I swear I recall seeing the transferred points showing initially. I do not plan to use the points because I do not believe they are mine to use. But here is my concern, what if they mess up my points further when they finally realize their mistake? Will I lose one of the 3 reservations I currently have on valid points? Has this ever happended to anyone else? Gosh how I wish they were right because I could use another 72 points for next summer!!!

It just happened to me and I had to walk them through each and every transaction before they agreed they were wrong. It will in fact be to your detriment not to have it corrected now. An IT staff member needed to be involved and it took 3 days to fix it.

Get your records straight and go through each transaction with them and have them echo back that transaction to you and see where it goes awry.
