We are going on our first Illuminations Cruise during our upcoming trip. We will be at Universal that day and then leaving by car to be at the Yacht Club Marina for the cruise.

Are we better parking at the Yacht Club, AP holders, so parking not a problem or parking at Epcot and walking to the YC.

Thanks.

As you'll start and finish at the Yacht Club I'd park there. You'll be able to avoid the crowds that leave Epcot after illuminations that way too.

Yes I agree with Libby - park at the YC. All you then need to do is walk through the lobby to the back entrance and then to the marina.

As Libby says, you will be returned to the YC Marina - you could even pop into Beaches & Cream afterwards for an ice-cream :)

BTW, there is a restroom just near the back entrance of the YC which is very handy for just before the cruise :)

One of the benefits of the IllumiNations cruise is that you don't have to fight the crowds leaving the park after the show, so you definitely need to park at Y&B.

You are set for a real treat - enjoy every minute! :D

Thanks Guys ~ Parking at the YC it is. I'm really looking forward to the Illuminations cruise and a sundae from B&C.

Does having AP passes allow you to park at the YC? Or maybe that you're going on the Illuminations Cruise? I agree, it's much more convenient. I did notice on our last visit that they're really cracking down on people parking at the Epcot resorts.

The AP allows you to park for free at the parks so I think it was just a question of saying that she was looking for the best option and it had nothing to do with money :)

You are entitled to park at the Y&BC because you are taking the Illuminations Cruise - you are effectively visiting the resort, not a park.
