Help please with February/March 2013

I'm thinking of squeezing in a weeks trip for mine and my daughters birthdays the first week in March (mine is 5th, daughters is 7th March)
I really want to miss spring break and presidents day/week so when would you advise booking for? I'm happy to move it to earlier in februsary, possibly the half term which is w'c 18th Feb,
Some advice would be great, thanks

Spring Break varies by college and next year will start as early as mid February and run right through to the beginning of April. By far the busiest period, though, will be March 3rd - 24th. President's Day is on the third Monday of February, so that'll be the 18th in 2013. On the face of it, the window of opportunity (when it should be really dead) is the week that runs from the end of February into the first few days of March.

We ususally go Presidents week but this year we went the week before and I must stay it was dead. The crowd levels were very low. We never used a FP for anything because the wait times were 15 minutes. The weather however can be a bit chilly so be sure to pack warmer clothes. Also the hotel rates will increase beginning the Friday of Presidents day weekend.
