So my husband and I got lucky and have been able to plan our first couple’s trip to Disneyland.

The Pros: No kids! I love my daughters (4 & 6) and the two trips we have taken with them, but I am looking forward to a slower pace and closing down the parks. We are going for my husband’s conference at the DLH. Free lodging at GCH!!! :goodvibes

The Cons: We will be there for 3 nights starting September 13th, so the opening of Halloween season and the tail end of Dapper Days.

Our plan is to get one park twilight tickets for Saturday and Sunday. We can afford to get more extensive tickets, but it such a cheap option and I think it will be enough time for us in the parks. DH actually has to attend the conference, LOL, and I am happy doing some leisurely shopping and reading by the pool during the day.

So my questions:

1) The convention is offering tickets for $50 each on Sunday night to get a private viewing of WOC and exclusive time in Carsland for convention goers only. Should we go for this? I love riding RSR at night and have never seen WOC. It says it goes until 11:00pm, so later than the park hours on the calendar—that alone…?

2) Any touring tips for starting at 4:00? Since it will be a busy weekend, I’m not sure what fast passes will still be available. Our priorities in Disneyland are BTMRR, Indy, and Splash. I wouldn’t mind seeing the Halloween overlays in HM and SM, but I’m okay with skipping them. In DCA I love RSR, Screaming, and Soaring. I haven’t done GRR and would love to do that especially since it will be easy to change clothes at GCH.

3) Ideas for Monday night? I wanted to do Napa Rose but it will be closed.

4) Romance? Any must dos?

Thanks Everyone!!!!

Yesterday at around 4:30 the FP time for Space was 9:15 to 10:15. The standby line was only 40 min, so we opted to do that, rather than return hours later. Of course, this will probably not be the case for Space due to it being the beginning of the overlay, but there should still be FP available for some things at 4pm. Indy & Splash also have single rider.
