Help please - number of children on august trips

I am looking to book our trip today - we've decided on Perun and cannot wait. I do have one urgent question I need some advice on though before I book.
Our last two disney trips have been in July and have been full of children - which for our only son is one of the reasons we love ABD.
This year we may have to delay until the 2nd of august - not being from the USA - from the islands. I do not know if this will be too late for the school holidays and therefore there will be less children on the trip on this date?

Can anyone help me with this??

Most schools in the US return from summer break in mid to late August to early September. There should still be plenty of kids in early August.

You should be fine - most summer sports are done at the end of July and school doesn't start back til later in August (except year round - they went back yesterday in NC!). You can ask ABD, though, and they should be able to tell you how many kids are booked on your departure.

There should still be plenty of kids vacationing from the US in early August. In NY, most of our schools go back the first week in September, though other parts of the country start in mid to late August. Either way, the first week of August is still a popular vacation time for families with children.

I actually inquired about this specific question with an ABD rep today regarding the Alpine Magic trip. Although I'm sure it varies from year to year, there were more children on the July trips because school is out. However, there were children on the June and August trips, but not nearly as many (note that the Aug trip for Alpine Magic this year was mid-August not early in the month). She indicated that due to school being out and various camps occuring in June and August, July has the most kids booked, while early June and late August have the least amount. I'm talking only summer months, so I'm sure there are even less children in April, May, September, and October, which is typically when the Adults only trips occur.

we have taken the plunge and booked the 3rd August ... Peru here we come.

Its funny reading your replies but the very reason we are trying august is that all the camps here in Barbados are in July and nothing in August at all, so each year we have struggled on our return from an ABD.
I only hope that being at the beginning of the month there will still be plenty of children. Fingers crossed.

Can't believe its booked already oh well at least I get to cross off the top of my "bucket list" now!!

Year-round in Wake County, NC went back the 9th of July. We've been in for two weeks tomorrow.
