Help please: Legoland Windsor

Could anyone make recommendations on a website that has info about Legoland? I'm looking for hints and tips for touring plans, places to eat etc. Our trips are planned to the inch, I can't imagine just wandering into a themepark with no planning! We're heading to England in April and I just found out that the day we are at Legoland it is school break. I'm a little worried now about how busy it is going to be.

Not sure about places to eat etc..im planning on taking my DD here in Oct for her birthday. But as far as i was told even during school breaks it doesnt get too busy..but please dont quote me on that ive never been lol

We went last year for the first time, we went clockwise around the park according to the map, we never got to see it all as the weather was so bad and it didnt stop raining all day, we are going again in april so fingers crossed it will be better weather. You will really enjoy it it is so much fun and our DS cannot wait to go back, there is also a new part just opened which looks really good as we saw it advertised just recently on television. Have a look on the legoland website and I think if I remember rightly they give you details on the rides and attractions. Hope you have a great time when you go, Im sure you will

We didnt rate the food in the park very much, but maybe it was just where we picked will try another place next time

its not so big that u have to excessivly plan .
Theres a little train from the fromt that takes you down the hill, it makes all that walking eeasier,
We did it all in a day.

you really dont need to plan. Just look at a map and decide what you want to do when you get there. Its pretty small.. and they take forever to get you on an off the rides.

Eating options are fairly awful... its all counter service i think .. and not that good.
AND its more expensive than WDW!!!!

Still its not a bad park for under 10s.. but anyone older than that wont get much out of it.

I live 10 mins drive from Legoland and only on a Sunday is it truly busy. It's not big enough to plan but the smaller childrens rides do tend to have the biggest queues. As it's a park meant for smaller children the few older childrens rides that they have are never really very busy, well not by Disney standards. I think the most we've ever waited is 20 mins. It's a great little park and the Lego Village is fun. My god daughter absolutely loved the driving school and was very proud of her driving licence.

Food options are limited but if the weather is nice then there is a nice barbecue place next to Legoland's version of Splash Mountain, it's outside and you can watch people coming down the mountain ond getting wet!

we have annual passes and the only time legoland has been truly busy was when they did there monster truck weekend but still the waits was no more than 30mins. if you go midweek outside of uk school holidays everything will more or less be a walk on.

It is quite a hilly park but they do have a land tram which will take you from top to bottom and back.

Food options have improved (went friday for ap openining day) and the main restaurant by the water show has been refurbished with a new menu.
Our favourtie place to eat is the bbq place by spalsh mountain but was also like the fish and chips up by the duplo theatre.

They have also introduced if you do go at a busier time something called a queuebot which is a piece of equipment which look like a tamicothchi (sp??) and vitually queues you for the most propular rides and then buzzes when you can ride (you can choose a time), and you then go straight on (a bit like a fastpass)

Its a great little park, we love it. im sure you will have a great time

We're going to be there April 18th, which I THINK is the last day of school spring holiday? I'm feeling better now though about the lines. We were spoiled, we went to WDW in January, with a touring plan. The longest we waited for ANYTHING was 20 minutes, and that was the day the fast passes were down.
Any other tips for must do/avoid rides and same for food places are welcome!
