Help, Please! If No 8 Day Parkhopper, What Days to Skip??

We purchased 6 day PH tickets for our June trip and were told by 2 CMs over the phone that we could add on up to 2 more days at the park (8 day PH tickets). I know it's just speculation, but if we can't do that now, I'm wondering what 2 days would be best to skip the parks altogether?

We will arrive Sunday, June 10 at 11 a.m. (SNA airport) and we leave Sunday, June 17 on a 5 p.m. flight. We'd love to go our first day (even though it's not a full day), we are staying on property, so can take advantage of all offered Magic Mornings, there are grad nights and the closing of DCA on the 14th, plus the madness of DCA re-opening on the 15th... there are so many factors, I just don't know what our best plan is... Can anyone help me choose the two days to skip, if need be?

I would say friday and sunday... they seem to be the busiest

I'd probably skip my arrival and departure days, simply because they are partial days. Take your time settling in, take things slow the last day... it's sad if they changed the policy on you...

We are in a similar dilema, but we will be at the park for 11 days including our early arrival day. hubby and I have our annual passes, but we got a 6 day park hopper for our daughter hoping like you we can still add on the extra 2 days, then we will find other things to do on the other days. But if in fact we are not able to add the extra 2 days, we will probably upgrade her to an annual pass, (even though there is no chance she will be able to go back within a year) It would still be cheaper than buying 2 seperate park hoppers, or perhaps the same price but then she could get a discount on food and merchandise. This is very encouraging to me though, that you spoke to 2 different cast members who said you can still add on the extra 2 days! I will keep my fingers crossed for you and myself!

If you have to pick two:

I'd skip the 14th ... with one park closed, and 6 days with them open its going to be a madhouse and you'll have enough days you could enjoy DL w hopping. Any chance you'd want to go to Knotts or a water park/another attraction that day?
Also I'd skip the 17th because its going to be a madhouse and you'd only be getting half a day; its entirely probable that the FPs you'd grab would be for after you need to leave for your flight.

The 17th is my arrival day, we tinkered with the idea of driving/taking the train up early, then instead settled on sleeping in in SD and having a mid-day arrival to hopefully avoid some of the traffic and just having that be our "checking stuff out" day and oohing and aahing over the new stuff rather than actually trying to get anything accomplished ride-wise because I think that would be a mostly futile effort.

I would skip your arrival and departure days. The rest of the days you would have full days. I think it will be busy enough you will want full days. Plus the 14th you can just go to DL. The other option would be to skip the 14th instead of your arrival day.
