I have a very odd split trip this year. I'm arrivng late 10/2 at MCO then heading over to Pop for 2 nights. On 10/4, I'm transferring to a hotel by Universal. I'll be there till 10/10, and then I switch to AKV-Kidani. My problem is getting to AKV from there. My options are:

1) Pay for round trip transport to/from MCO to the 2nd hotel, then take ME to AKV. Con: having to have fake flight numbers for times I don't like to get where I want, price slightly

2) Mears shuttle to AK (which has AM EMH), hop a Disney bus to AKV. Con: Timing

3) Taxi Con: price/traffic

4) Take Lynx from 2nd hotel to AKV (cheap!!) Con: looooong bus trip

Any advice, opions and suggestions are very welcome!! Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

How are you getting from the POP to Universal? If it were me, I rent a compact car and drive from the POP to Universal and then drive back to the AKV. return the rental that afternoon. In order to get into the AK for EMH you'll need your room key so you'd need to go to AKV to check in.
A rental would give you more flexibility and you'd be able to get to EMH once you've checked into AKV without having to worry.

I thought about that, but I just don't have that much in my budget. And also, I'm not trying to get to EMH on the 10th, just using as an excuse to be able to use the bus and not have to wait forever, lol.

To get to the Universal hotel, I'm either going to do the Mears transport from MCO or Lynx bus (I know it will take forever, but I have pretty much all day to get there).

I'm confused :confused3, why are you going back to MCO You arrive at the POP, I assume you are using ME for that, then you are going back to MCO? You still need to get to Universal I think you are making it more complicated and just as expensive by going to the airport.
Wouldn't it be easier to take a Mears shuttle from Disney to Universal and then back to Disney. The roundtrip cost for using Mears is $19 it would be the cheapest and most direct way to go. When you go from Universal to Disney request the earliest pickup time.

I'm not going to just Universal. I have a separate hotel by Universal for 6 nights.

Taxi it is!

Well, still call Mears and ask how much it would cost for a technically round-trip shuttle ride between WDW and your Universal-area hotel.

DME to POP. Then, either a cab or car service from POP to US/IoA and then to Kidani. DME back to MCO from Kidani.

There is really no inexpensive way to do this. This is the one issue with trying to do both US/IoA and WDW in the same trip without a car.

I think I'll do this, but take DME back to MCO from Pop and use a Mear shuttle to USO/I-Drive area. It will be cheaper that way ($19 instead of whatever the taxi would be). And then just do the taxi to Kidani.

Thanks for the help everyone!
