Just back Sunday from a week at CBR and Allegiant Airline announces a sale to Orlando, so we're looking at a quick trip down Dec 11-16 - our 14th trip. We're AP holders. I just want to be sure I'm not missing anything - but I can't find a discount on rooms for this mid-Dec week !!! This will be the first trip in years that we'd have to pay rack rates. We're not AAA members and the AP site doesn't offer any AP resort discounts. Any suggestions or ideas other than booking thru CRO then watching for any to-be-released discounts and then modifying or cancelling/re-booking? Thank you all very much!

Check to see if there are AAA room rates available, then join if there are.

If there are rooms available with the AAA rate it will save you more than the membership price.

You need to be 60 days out to book best rate. The 13th is 60 days today so you could book 13-16th with BR. There is availability from 13 to 16.

And then call the passholders line and see if they will add the first two nights to your reservation at the AP rate. Never hurts to try!

Good luck!

Magical Memories travel has a group rate available for that time. You can check them out. It is a pretty good rate.

This board helped me so much! Use code EYT, moderate resorts run about $100 and there are deals on the other resorts as well for mid-December. But there's a limited amount left, so book now!!
::MinnieMo Hope that helps!

After I wrote this I realized you may not be a Florida resident, I think you need to be for this code......

Arriving on a Sunday and leaving on Friday.....sounds like the perfect opportunity to rent DVC points!

Since the OP is talking about December 2005, availability would be a problem. Doubt there is much (if any) left for those days.

Best wishes -
