Help Please! Candy Cane Inn or Park Vue Inn ???

I requested upstairs room but got downstairs. Neither of the upstairs 3-queen suites were available on the day I checked in.

According to their manager, PVI has 4 three-queen suites; two upstairs and two down under those. Upstairs they are next to rooms. and down stairs only one is next to a storage room. He recommend second floor and these rooms are located at the end of the property. He said these are some of our quietest rooms, but again it is Disneyland and kids and families get very excited.

Thanks to everyone - Now I am VERY excited about staying at PVI during our December trip! :yay:
Sadly my DS thinks the crowds will be too large to actually enjoy himself. Well, we have been to Disneyland at Christmas time (OK, before Christmas Day) and had a great time. DH, DG and DGD are excited!
I think staying at PVI will help a lot to keep him happy -close, food, big room, more Food Ha! Grumpy DS didn't even remember DCA existed!:confused3 Ha he has been living on the East Coast too long.

CandyMouse: There is another thread about PVI check-in. Seems at check-in they take your charge card and drivers license to a back room and photocopy it. Did that happen to you each time you have stayed at PVI

I love the CCI, but I would be hesitant to put four adults and a child into a single room. We had 2 adults and 1 teen in a standard room and I would not want any more people in there. In a standard room there is not a lot of extra floor space.

Ditto. It felt a bit tight with 2 adults and a teen.

We just got back from our vacation. We loved the PVI. We were in room 133, 2Q with bunks. It was great for the five of us. Have picks of room, but don't know how to post.

I have a 2Q bunk reserved for Oct. I'd love to hear more about the layout, did it feel big enough for 5? Was the vanity outside the bathroom? If you figure out how to post pics I'd like to see them. Thx!

...we had also considerd CCI, but liked the room and breakfast options at PVI.

I'm a little anxious, as we've always stayed at a Disney hotel or resort (WDW). We generally stay mid-range or so; did Paradise Pier for our last DL vacation.

We'll like this...right??? :confused3
