Help please-based on latesT MK park hour changes

Was aware of some hour changes, but I was not aware MK NOW opens at 8 on the 9th and 7 on the 11th. The 8am is a bummer because we have CP ressies at 8am-before the park DID open which is basically negated now. And with 3 little kids I can't do 7am-too early to get everyone up and waiting to rush the rope drop. They would fall apart. We are staying at BLT. ANY suggestions?. Stick with my plans as is or modify? Especially the day I had the 8am breakfast-there goes my castle shot. Should I just go with the flow ans keep my plans or will it be super crowded if we enter the park at 9ish after eating at CP and on that Thursday at 8,skipping the EMH.

I doubt it will be super crowded at those times on those dates. Ask yourself what would my kids enjoy the most? And is taking pictures in front of the castle with a mostly empty park that important to them.

Personally I would stay with current plans, be flexible and keep focus on what your kids like to experience.

Thanks! I needed that reality check. I just do all the planning and get crazy and lose focus sometimes! So thank you!

Hey we are staying at BLT and had ADR at CP on the 9th at 8:10!! Is that the day you have your ADR? Anyways I was super bummed when I found about parade taping and it being packed when getting in the park but was hopefull because the 12th we had a BBB appointment at 8:15 so we had another almost empty park chance. WELLLLLL they changed the times every day to 8am like you said so there went both my chances for an almost empty park photo ops. I was really upset at first but after hearing peoples thoughts and thinking about it I canceled the CP ADR. I figured we would have a better time enjoying shorter lines for that first hour from 8-9 and it gives us an extra hour before our fast passes start. We are doing 4 other character meals so it was ok to drop this one and we can visit pooh and friends later in the trip. We are keeping the BBB appointment though and now my husband can take DS on a ride or two rather than having to just wait around for DD with me.

I would do what you think is best for your family. Would you rather have that extra hour for rides or meet and greets in the park or do the character meal? I think either way it will be a great time. By the time you get out of dining if you choose that from what I've read lines will still be pretty short and not to crowded. Were going a good week and should be able to enjoy a lot. Yes! Exact same day! I still haven't decided! If i could get a lunch or dinner reservation I would just switch, but haven't had any luck yet!
