Help Please advice for adding people to reservation

Hi,

We are going to HS next Friday and I have had reservations for Hollywood & Vine lunch since our 180 day window opened. Last week friends of ours decided to join us in the park that day and asked me to add them to the reservation...Its Free Dining time...of course there is no luck. I am now searcing daily, calling daily. Is there any hope? What has been people's experience with cancellations. Also, if they show up a few minutes ahead of our reservation time with us do you think there could be a chance that they could fill a cancellation. Any advice.... Thanks!

They will seat the extra guest if they can, but there are no guarantees.

A lot of it has to do with how many you made the ADR for, as it is easier to add a 6th person to an ADR for 5 than it is to add a 5th person to an ADR for 4. If your adding an extra guest means the table size now needs to be bigger, that is where the problem is.
