We have 5 day Park Hopper passes. We will be driving from TX and staying with relatives that live close to Orlando. We could arrive at POR as early as 9am on Sun. Feb. 22. Our original plan didn't include the relatives and had us arriving later in the day. So our plan was Mon- Epcot; Tues- MK; Wed-AK/Fanstasmic; Thur-MK then ?; Fri-MGM. Would you leave it alone and just swim/boat/shop/eat on Sunday?Would you go to a park Sunday and use the non-park day later in the week? This is our first trip to DW and any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the DIS. :wave2: I'd head to the park on Sunday & take a break mid-week...you'll need it. We always try to schedule a day at the parks and a day off or some quiet time mid-trip as we seem to be wilting by then. ;) It's hard to go 5 days straight. Hope you have a great trip. :)

I agree - I'd move your Wednesday schedule to Sunday. AK is great on a Sunday, and seeing Fantasmic will really kick off your trip! That will leave Wednesday as your pool day - plan a nice dinner right at your resort also. You won't believe how relaxing it is to spend one day not hopping on a bus!

Have a great trip!

You will be so excited to get to a park the first day that I would do the same. Go on Sunday and take a break on Wed. when you will need a litle down time. Have fun

Since you have park hoppers, I'd park hop a bit. One park in the AM (MK is always good in the morning) then a swim at the hotel, then back to another park in the late afternoon/early evening. It's really hard to stay at one park all day. By park hopping a bit, you can hit those things you really want to do, break, and then do a bit more.

You could always get Disney Quest passes and use one of the middle days for a DQ day. Plus hit Downtown Disney a bit.

We like to sleep late and spend time at one of the mini-golf parks, swim and Downtown Disney. Also, we're spending a day at the Kennedy Space Center this year, although since you live near Houston, maybe you've already been to the Johnson Space Center. At Kennedy, you can even have lunch with an astronaut.

I agree about taking a break midweek. I also agree that Animal Kingdom might be a good one to go to on Sunday.
