My mum has inoperable, terminal cancer. Initially, she wanted to go to Disney World. Then she shyly asked if we could do Disneyland instead, which she has never seen. (She's done Disney World a few times.) She also wants to see a little of Hollywood.
I'm trying to plan a trip for the end of the month. We'll be going for 8 to 10 days and I'm looking to stay as close as possible to make going back and forth easy. She does well in the mornings but gets very tired in the afternoons. I'm looking at hotels that all say "across the street" but which would be the easiest?
She's determined to walk the whole time, but does anyone know where I can rent a wheelchair or scooter if walking proved to be too much of a strain?
Basically, any help at all would be appreciated. I've been to Disneyland once before about 4 years ago, but I don't remember enough of the surrounding area to be of much help...

Anyway, my thoughts are with your Mom and you, I hope you both have a truly magical trip. The hotels closest to the cross walk are the BWPPI, Tropicana and something on the other side that I haven't stayed at. You might also consider staying at the Grand Californian.....that would be a truly amazing place to stay and I know that if you explained your situation to the CM booking your stay they would do everything they could to get you a great room.
