Help plan our meals-revised on #11

DTD shops open at 11 am. Breakfast locations vary, but are usually open by 7-7:30. The quick coffee/bagel/breakfast place at DLH is open at 6:30 am.

We like the breakfast window at Ralph Brennan's for their beneigts and breakfast sandwiches and chicory coffee. La Brea Bakery also has some tasty and quick options.

Definitely Pacific Cafe for your DCA counter service, like I said - get the bread bowls on the side and use them for extra munchies. Avoid the Mexican choices across the way - not enough food for what you pay. Very small tacos. However, you should do the exhibit and get your free tortilla snack!

I like the Napa for a more elegant offering for TS, as well as Steakhouse 55. However, don't sell yourself short on Catal. The food is really great and you can eat on the balcony above DTD - nice relaxing atmosphere. We've also never had a bad meal at Tortilla Jo's. Same Patina Group ownership, as is Naples. Ralph Brennan's is really tasty, too. Avoid the Rainforest.....

snacks - Don't do the chimichangas at the Turkey Leg and Chimichanga stands.... There's a thread on favorite snacks somewhere on the DL forum - saw it within the last couple days. You should check that out, too.

When DL opens at 9 or 10, Main St. opens 1 hour earlier than that. You might want to reconsider Minnies on your first morning if it is not a MM. That way you can do that, without wasting any ride time,etc.

A DL counter service, my favorite is Plaza Inn on Main St. Very good and very well sized for the money. Also Red Rockets Pizza Port in Tomorrland. Very filling for the money. They also serve toddler meals in this specific spot. My DS3 likes that.

A PP suggested Rancho del Zocalo, I also would give that a vote.

Thanks to everyone's help I think I've got the big things in place. Just too many choices for the fill-ins! Too many good looking places and way too little time.

I'm going to start working on our park schedule now and that will help me get the rest of this worked out.
