We are a party of 4 adults (myself, husband, & my parents) traveling 10/21/15 - 10/30/15 and staying at separate resorts (AKV and BCV, each couple is at one resort...not a split-stay). We won't arrive until approx 5pm on 10/21. Our return flight departs around 5:40pm on 10/30 so we will have until 2:30pm on our last day to tie up any loose ends/last minute must-dos if needed.

How would you assemble our trip? We have 10-day PH + WPF&M tickets and would like a little down time here & there to explore our resorts/relax/resort pool swim. So far I'm thinking we will want to do each watermark once plus one mini golf course...I think mini golf has to be before 2pm.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to organize the trip while including the water parks and still allowing for a more leisurely trip. I don't want to feel rushed in the parks and running back & forth because I want my parents to really enjoy their time at WDW with us. We don't need to meet any characters & aren't interested in the carnival type rides like Dumbo but do want to do almost everything else (a big fat NO to Ellen's Snoring Adventure). I think we will want 1TS restaurant per day, either lunch or an early dinner. The first night I thought maybe we'd try to go to MK for dinner & MSEP but now I'm thinking it would be best to turn in early so we can hit RD the next day.

I am planning a trip with 9 full days and one half day as well. I have 3 park days, 1 day waterpark, 2 park days, 1 day waterpark, 2 park days. I think we'll only spend from 10 - 2 in the waterparks, leaving the evenings for either DTD or evening entertainment. My co-traveller is new to WDW (but very experienced at DLP), I want her to take all the time she wants to take it all in. Ride, shop, meet, eat in a nice slow pace. My 'plan':
- Use easywdw as my guide on where to go when to avoid crowds as much as possible.
- When the rides get busy in the afternoon, we will shop.
- When we are bored with a park, we will hop.
- Especially with Epcot and Magic Kingdom, we will divide the lands we will visit, so we don't have to run around. I think Adventure/Frontierland one day, Fantasyland/Tomorrowland the other.
- No morning EMH, but will do RD at a non-EMH park.
- Evening entertainment in the last part of the trip.
- On our first day (it's a day when MK closes at 7pm), we have an early dinner at BOG and I plan to go back to the hotel and just relax maybe swim. And get up the next day early for RD.

I think that'll be my plan.

That plan sounds pretty perfect! I like the idea of using the water park days as a break between the busy park days...I think we could do the same as you (10am-2pmish) at the water parks and reserve those evenings for MSEP, Illuminations, or Fantasmic. Those days would also give us enough time to explore each other's resorts, maybe doing Boma together one evening and Yachtsman the other evening.

Those were our exact dates last year!!! May you be as lucky as we were with the weather - sun, pleasant temps and low humidity the whole trip!
We stayed at BC.

This was our plan - only real crowds we ran into was at MK on our Saturday (non-party) night. Our fast pass selections were great, mostly mid morning to mid afternoon times - exception was our fifth day where we made them at night for MK. We didn't even need any the night/late evening were at AK< everything was a walk on! We were pretty exhausted by the end of the trip and ready to go home (but had a TERRIFIC time).
A big lesson learned for next time, we definitely need to schedule a sit down, late evening dinner everyday, we missed that when we didn't have one.

First day (Tues) - Epcot (future world) with dinner at Via Napoli and Illuminations
Second day (Wed) - Animal Kingdom (no real lines for anything until after 10 or so and even then they weren't long), pool late afternoon, Epcot night (food/wine)
Third day (Thurs) - Magic Kingdom (arrived at rope drop for EMH morning, got tons done in morning), pool late afternoon, Epcot night (food/wine)
Fourth day (Fri) - Studios, pool later afternoon, AK at night (was open until 8 - perfect- highly recommend!) Late dinner at Crews Cup in Yacht Club, very good!
Fifth day (Sat) - maybe you could use as water park day? We lounged most of the day and went to MK at night (crowded)
Sixth day (Sun) - breakfast at Flying Fish, lounging at resort, Halloween party at MK - I would do the party if you can, so many rides were walk on, it was awesome!
Seventh day (Mon) - Epcot all day, dinner at Jiko in the evening
Eight day (Tues) - HS, MK - kind of just wandered around taking everything in for the last time. Ate at Beaches and Cream for late dinner.
Ninth day (Wed) - Epcot (future world, food/wine) - relaxing around pool, one last Illuminations (until next time!)

Have a great trip!! I'm jealous, we aren't going back until 2017. We are going on a RC cruise this year, so hopefully a different kind of fun! :)
