I'm trying to decide between two different weeks in fall of 2016. These are my only 2 choices for that time period.

Oct 22-30th
or
Oct 29-Nov6

Here's the list of thoughts I have on each. From historical crowd calendars they look about even except for the start of wine and dine marathon is at the end of that second week so that Saturday will be busier. Also, we do not want to go to either party (MNSSHP or MVMCP) so that is not a factor in our decision.

Oct 22-30:
-moderate crowds
-halloween decorations up
-my Birthday falls in that week

Oct 29-Nov 6
-moderate crowds except on the 5th it will pick up a bit due to wine & dine marathon
-halloween decorations up when we get there
-a chance that Christmas decorations at Magic Kingdom will go up before we leave
-a chance that if they replace Osborne lights with something new it will start that week

I feel really stuck - I went that week in October (the first week mentioned) this year and it was great, but even a chance to see some Christmas decorations is neat. Any suggestions would be appreciated! :)

I would go 29-6th it will be crowded but a little less than your other date. First part of Dec., Most of Sept.,Jan. after New Years Day WDW seemed like a ghost town. No more I really can't think I could tell anyone go this time of year it's real slow. I just think you would enjoy more with less walking. So take full advantage of FP+ and make your ADR's ASAP.W ith good basic plan that allows you some flexibility and you will have great time.
