HELP!!! PhotoPass+ Conflicting Reports

Please help me! I may want to pre-order the PhotoPass+ for our upcoming trip but am getting conflicting reports from everyone on how it works! I'd love to hear frist hand how your PhotoPass+ worked for you.

My main questions...
1) CRT - My TA said I get a 2nd photo package if I upgrade to the + above the one you get just for the reservation (we're a party of 3 for this dinner). Did anyone else get an extra printed package? With just the regular PhotoPass I would be able to add the pictures with the EVNT number on the free photos right?!?
2) Pirates League - I know you get a printed picture and the digitals but if you're paying for more then 1 pirate do you get a printed picture and digitals for each one (all pirates will be going on the same day).

Any personal reports on how the + worked for you are appreciated! No one at Disney seems to have their story straight and my TA is telling me one thing and I'm seeing somthing else on here.

Particularly with regard to your second question. I have 3 going to pirates league and had just assumed I'd get all of their photos for "free.". But your question made me wonder. I still think we will get them included though.

Fwiw, I don't think there'd be a second photo at CRT. Unless you have more than 5 guests. One photo for 1-4 guests, two for 5-? But that's how it goes regardless of photopass. We opted to take one of the whole family and one with just the kids.

Yes, you can add any prints you receive at CRT to your regular PhotoPass card (well, not technically your card, but to your account). I'm not sure about the extra set. We always have two sets because we're a party of six. We dined at Akershus (pic is included in the price without PP+), and we did not receive an "extra" print on top of the two included prints. YMMV with CRT or even at Akershus, especially since PP+ is new, and they're still working out the kinks, I'm sure.

In regards to The Pirates League, you should get pics for all your pirates. In fact, I also asked for a pic of my two together, and I received the third print, as well.

They just recently came out with a pre-order discount (last few weeks...I know for sure AFTER our trip ). I think it's $160 or $170? So, it'll save $30-40.

I've never bought ride pics before and we wouldn't be riding a lot of them but it would be fun to get those as well.

How did you like having the + over the standard?

We got the PP+ when we were there a couple of weeks ago. We did not get an extra photo package at CRT, just the two we were supposed to get with our party of 8. For the pirate makeovers, we only got the digital files for both members of the party that had the pirate makeovers HOWEVER the day we did the pirate makeovers and CRT the PP system was down throughout the parks and resorts for at least 8 hours. However, as long as you have the card, you should be able to add anyone's photos to it.

We are considering the Photopass + for our next trip. We had the regular one last month and purchased a few ride photos. I realized that for the cost of only the digital downloads (the cheapest way to get your ride photo), I could have had Photopass+ which would have given me ALL our pics. I just wish both (photopass and the +) weren't so expensive.

Having the PP+ was great in that situation, because we had breakfast at Chef Mickey's and had our pictures taken right before the system went down. If we had not had the PP+ we never would have gotten pictures because they aren't included with the meal there. Because we had the PP+ they were able to just give us the numbers of our pictures to add to our card later. Otherwise, I'm not sure how they would have handled it.

Yes, we really enjoyed having the PP+!! We did split the cost with friends traveling with us, so it was definitely worth it for us. We also ride a lot of the picture rides, so we used it a ton there, too. We ate at 1900 and 'Ohana and received those picture packages, which was nice. Both sets were ones I would've purchased anyway because they turned out really well. The 'Ohana one is my favorite!! We were tired of smiling for the camera, so we made goofy faces instead.

That's a bummer!! I hope they at least gave you guys the little booklet and frame for the PL pics. They were really cute, and the kids loved them!!

I had pp+ for our May 3-10th trip. Dined at Donalds safari Brfst and CRT as party of 5.
CRT just 2 photo print packages we would have gotten regardless since photo prints are included in price of meal. I did ask about extra pkg. since I had plus answer was no.
Donalds Safari brfst. Just 1 print package for our table.

I claimed all ride photos ( just "file" on acct.)
