HELP, Parking at Westchester County Airport?

Looking to fly out of Westchester County Airport for first time in order to save $$$ on arifare for family of five. Airport website states not to rely on long term parking (which we need it's a ten day trip) and short term parking price is Where around Westchester County Airport can I park for ten nights at an affordable price? Thanks a bunch for any ideas, suggestions, tips, etc...

The on-site parking at the airport does stink... We went to WDW in October and parked at:
La Quinta Inn & Suites Armonk
94 Business Park Drive
Armonk, NY 10504

It is a hort ride, 10 minutes, from the airport. It was $6 or $7 per night. Their shuttle will drop you off & pick you up at the airport.

We just used LaQuinta for 12 days over February break. They now charge $10 a day.

When we got there they immediately helped us put our luggage in the shuttle and took us right away. Maybe a 10minute ride tops. When we came back, they gave us a card to call them and by the time we got our luggage they were waiting for us.

Would highly recommend them. Also...the hotel is in an office park so there is not much traffic or people passing through. We felt very safe leaving our car there.

Has anyone ever stayed at the hotel? We have a "park and fly" package booked in April as we have an early flight and are coming in from CT the night before. It looks fine on line, just wondering if anyone has a first hand report.

This sounds great! Did you have to stay overnight to park your car there at this rate? Is the shuttle available for late flights? Thanks a bunch

You definitely don't need to stay at the hotel. It was so convenient that I kept waiting for a catch...but there was none. Would do it again in a minute.

FYI there is only 1 parking garage at White Plains. It's for both long term & short term. G/L with parking.

$10 a day is'nt bad, we've paid more than that for off airport parking at Newark. I'll call the hotel and find out about reserving a spot, thanks for the help. Linda

A friend of mine used the La Quinta Inn for parking and she was very happy with them. We are also flying out of Westchester. The drive is a little over an hour but it was cheaper to fly from there. We are having my FIL drive us.

We did the park and fly and were pleased. The only problem we had was that on our return there were more people than they could fit in the van. He had to make at least 2 trips. They had extra vans at the hotel but there was only one driver working. My impression is that they don't keep good track of how may people will be needing a ride at any given time. Or, we may have just hit it at a bad time. Either way, we would not hesitate to use them again.
