Hello!
So, I am going to be a Memories bride in February 2014. We have our hotel, officiant, and outside photographer booked. Part of the reason that I decided to go with an outside photographer was because I wanted to be guaranteed to have one that I was happy with (not a big fan of Disney's "request one you want, but you're not guaranteed to get them" policy). Another factor was that my fiance is a full time manual wheelchair user, and I am not. Having done research on photography for other couples in our situation, well, let's just say that there is not a lot of quality work out there. I found a photographer that I am super thrilled to work with because they have experience working with a couple in the same situation. I loved their work because the wheelchair did not become the focus of the pictures, nor did it appear that they were trying to hide the fact that the guy used one. I was so determined to have this particular photographer, that I actually scheduled the wedding around when they would be available.
Anyhoos...I got my Letter of Agreement yesterday from Disney, and I noticed that they require outside photographers to sign some sort of agreement, and now I'm having a complete freak out!!! Is the agreement going to be something that most photographers would agree to? Because, if they say that the photographer can't use their work on their own website, we may have an issue. I've already paid the deposit to the photographer (silly, I know, but I really wanted them), and I'm afraid that Disney's requirements may be too stringent and that our photographer won't want to do it any more :-(. So upset and stressed out right now! Please help!!!
