We are heading to Disney in August and I have a pretty severe Onion allergy (causing migraines and vomiting) and can't tolerate more than a tiny bit of garlic. With all the good things they now say about garlic-it seems that every restaurant has added it to everything on the menu (it has sharply cut down on my family's ability to eat out). I was wondering if anyone has any experience with a problem like this. It seems that restaurants don't believe anyone has an onion allergy. I have had Subway Sub Shop workers get upset that I make them change their gloves after handling onions on someone else's sub in line before me and frequently restaurants just take the onions off the top of the salad, but I will still get a migraine if I eat a tomato that has been laying beside a fresh onion. I have had Disney note the allergy on my reservations, but I am still concerned.
