I left my new crocs brand lady wedge sandals in my car yesterday and when I went to put them on today one had shrunk considerably - about 1-2 sizes. Is there a way to stretch them back out? What baffles me is that the other sandal is still normal size!

call crocs manufacture and ask what to do or if they have ever heard of this happening. this strange as mine left in car all the time:confused3

That is wild. I wonder if the two different shoes came from different batches of the plastic material used to manufacture them.

I agree. Try to return them, even if they're worn a bit. This is a crazy thing to have happened.

Crocs company might also be very interested in this. Caution should be on the label not to leave them in the heat?

I have heard of people putting Crocs in the dryer for a short (10 min) time period, then putting them on to conform to their feet better. But this one is beyond any explanation I can think of! :confused

That's weird. I always have a pair in my car. They are my go to shoes when I need to get out of my heels. Never have shrunk.

I've definitely had crocs shrink in a hot car before. One pair I had in the trunk that I forgot about, they were the mammoth ones, so I didn't need them in summer. When it got cool enough to wear them, they were so warped. Learned my lesson. I wear my crocs driving to work then take them into the office with me each day where I changed into my work shoes.

You need a hacksaw, a 1/5 of bourbon, and some gauze pads.....

Start with little toe.....it won't hurt as bad.

The shoe shrunk about two sizes and is visibly warped - the straps shrunk width-wise. When put side by side one shoe looks to be size 7 and the other a size 5 - I couldn't even get part of my foot in the sandal.

I tried putting the shoe in boiling water and stretching but there is no way to stretch it completely back to size because it is a wedge sandal - not the traditional Croc clog-style shoe.

I checked Crocs.com and they only offer a 45 day guarantee. I am outside the 45 day window but I will still try contacting them. These were about $30 and I wore them only a handful of times. They still have the nubs on the bottom so there is very little wear to them.

I have left shoes in the car/trunk all the time and never had something like this occur - especially to just one of the pair.

I agree with the poster that suggested that the shoes came from a different batch of material that is the only explanation why one would shrink and the other was ok.

I guess none of these folks are old enough to remember leaving cassette tapes in the car and what happened to them.
