Help...one child without a park hopper ticket

Hi guys...I have a couple quick questions. We will be in Disney from april 8 - 16. We have 1 day left on our old park hopper passes and 1 waterpark day left. My problem is that the last time we were in Disney ,y youngest was not yet three and did not need a ticket...now she does. If I buy a one day ticket that means that 5 people in our family can park hop and 1 person cannot...correct? Is there anyway to get a one day park hopper for just my 6 year old? We will be spending the rest of our trip at Universal this time and also visiting the beach so we do not need more park hoppers. Help!...Thanks Ann

Hi Ann,

I'm actually in the same situation as you...my DW and I have Park Hopper Passes and my DD is now over 3 so will need a pass for our next trip. Here's what I believe your options are:

Purchase a 1 day pass for your youngster in at the gate from WDW for $44.73 (3-9), but you are correct that this will only be valid for one park.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort, you do have a ticket option available. Resort guest can purchase a 1 night/2 day Ultimate Park Hopper ticket in advance for $96.92 for a 3-9 year old. Since you mention most of your visit will be at Universal, I'm guessing you are staying elsewhere.

Purchase a 4 day Park Hopper in advance for $177.86 (3-9). The unused days NEVER expire, so if you plan on returning to WDW again someday (and since this is your youngster's 2nd trip, I'm guessing you will) this is probably your best value. (PS. The 5day hopper advance (3-9) is $205)

Personally, we are only going 2 days this trip and I plan to buy the 4 day Park Hopper.

There are no one day hoppers for sale at WDW. Best case, buy a 3 day hopper from Alamo. 800-560-2397. It even has one plus.
