hi i have made my dinning Reservations but one. these are the places iv booked.... i need help with the last one. what do you think of these that iv picked sofar P.S. I HAVE THE DINNING PLAN

1st night- coral reef
2nd night- san angel inn
3rd night- teppan edo
4th night capt jacks
5th night wolfgang puck
6th night ?????????

It would help if we knew where you were planning on being that day. I notice that all your choices are Epcot and DTD. My recommendation would be to choose a restaurant at a location near your plans for the day.

That said, my favorite restaurant is Boma.

will you have kids with you? If so I recommend a character meal. Chef Mickey's is great for the "classic" Disney characters. 1900 Park Fare is great for Cinderella & crew. Or there's always the Crystal Palace, but I agree with the previous poster that it depends on which park you're going to be in that day.

Yea i know i have most of my meals are in Epcot. It doesnt matter what park we have the hopper. yes i do have children ages 12 and 9 boys... thank you so much for all your help....

I would have to say Kona Cafe at the Poly. It's our favorite place now. There is also Ohana, Chef Mickeys and several other places. Kona Cafe would still get my vote. :thumbsup2

What are your touring plans for that day and who's in your party? Specifically do you have kids that will be with you that day?

My boys are 9 and 11. They LOVE Sci-Fi and 50's Prime Time both at DHS. Sci-Fi is a must-do for us every trip! :thumbsup2 (Both are on the dining plan.)

Since you have 3 Epcot and 2 DTD restaurants, I'd pick something in a park.

We also enjoy the dinner buffet at Tusker House at Animal Kingdom.

for the boys , they would probably like whispering canyon. I am not so keen on the food there, but I know my son really used to like it there.
also maybe chef mickeys or ohana , or tusker house or cape may breakfast for them.

I would say with kids, you choices so far are kind of boring. I would skip Capt Jacks. We at there when our DD was 2. It was fine then, but she wouldn't care for it now. The food was just OK. Actually my DH hated it, but I liked it well enough.
I would probably skip Wolfgang pucks too. Go for a character meal, or something that has a bit of enteretainment.
My DD love whipering Canyon cafe. Lots of excitement going on there.

It's me again...
Just wanted to ask...
Is this your first trip? I'm only asking because the way you have your dinners planned reminds me of our first visit. I picked restaurants based on menus not location. I thought that since we had park hoppers it wouldn't be a big deal. We had 4 dinners in Epcot that first trip. The food was amazing, but my family started to complain about having to travel to Epcot every night. Travel time usually takes about an hour from park to park (especially with going thru bag check every time and walking thru Epcot to get to the restaurants).

I have a suggestion for you...
Drop one DTD restaurant and make your Teppan Edo ADR for lunch. The food (and prices) are the same at lunch vs dinner at TE. If you do an early lunch then have dinner in Epcot that same day you'll greatly reduce your travel time and still get to enjoy both wonderful meals. :thumbsup2 Then, going back to Epcot another night for dinner won't be a big deal.

I'd recommend picking one dinner in a park (AK or DHS have the great places I mentioned before), and if you decide to drop a DTD meal picking up one at one of the cool resort restaurants (like WCC at the Wilderness lodge - just a short boat ride from MK or Epcot, or Boma at AKL - really cool resort to visit.)

Hope I helped. :goodvibes

I would skip Captain Jack's and use 2 TS credits to take the boys to see the Hoop Dee Doo Revue dinner show. They will absolutely LOVE it! :thumbsup2

I wondered that too. Our first trip with doing the dining plan I made most of the ADRs on what I wanted to eat. Some for the fmaily, but mostly my choices. They were all fine, but I found out that the running around was a apin and some places were as great for others in my family. Last trip we planned the best and did mostly character meals. We all enjoyed most of the food and DD was entertained the whole while and didn't get bored at all. It was a much smoother trip for us.

I would certainly consider changing Captain Jack's-it is not held in high regard around here (or anywhere else I can think of).

Cape May Cafe would be a much better alternative.

Some other popular choices not on your list-
Boma or Jiko @ AKL
'Ohana @ Polynesian
Kona Cafe @ Polynesian
Whispering Canyon Cafe @ Wilderness Lodge
I like The Wave at Contemporary a lot as well but the menu is not for everyone.

It's not as if I dislike eating at DTD but unless you are staying in that area or you have a car it's not a real convenient place to just pop over to for dinner. Bus service between DTD and the rest of the world is pretty slow.

If you are only able to use on TS credit then I would say Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club or 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. We always choose one of those 2 for the final dinner of our trip.

If you can use 2 TS credits then I would say Citricos at the Grand Floridian or Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club. Both phenomenal places to eat and beautiful resorts to walk around and enjoy when you are done dining.
