It seems Disney's site may have too many bells and whistles for my work computer or something. Whenever I try to navigate the DVC page about rates, activities, etc.., I get a "can't find server" error. It's really frustrating. Anyway, I got as far as the basic description on HH and what a studio room includes. We're planning on going over Spring Break, we're not members, but wanted to give it a try. What's the typical spring rate for a week in a studio room? Would we be better off just getting a non-Disney property on the beach? Some of the beach houses look quite nice and rates are reasonable. I really want planned activities for the kids though, since my husband and I would like to golf some. Do they have clambakes or anything like that? Where can I get more info? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm just starting.
Thanks for responding,
Shauna

I am a DVC member and love DVC. However, I would go for a condo closer to the beach at HH anytime. I have spent a lot of time at HH and really like being able to walk or bike easily to the beach. Sea Pines has planned children's activities during the summer (you might try www.seapines.com to see if they have them for spring break).

It's highly unlikely that a Studio would be available at that time for a cash reservation. There are only 21 studios at the resort.

CarolA's suggestion is very good, as there are many options available at HH.

There may be availability at the DVC resort in a 2BR, but the resort does fill with member reservations at that time of the year. There may be some weekend availability.

Enjoy!
