Long story short... I am a disney FREAK who has never in her life been to DW!!! We have been planning to go since forever but we have put it off over and over and over. Now it was planned for NEXT fall. DH was laid off (sounds bad) but we got a very good sevrence out of it. After laying out all of our bills for the next 2 1/2 months, DH's dental surgery that is scheduled and some savings. We have enough for Disney.

We look at it this way, our kids are only young once. We have been through ALOT and in the 6 years we have been married we have took 1 weekend vacation. We deserve a little time off and stress free.:cool1: This was DH's idea I almost cried.

Anywho we were looking to go at the first to the middle of September. Is it possible? Will we still be able to get adr's? I was so depressed that our trip was pushed back ANOTHER year a few months ago I stopped researching. Is it possible to do it all in a month?

ANY help would be very welcome! Thank you!!!:worship:

I'm so happy you are still going and I think in these times a trip like Disney can brighten everyone's outlook up!!

With free dining this year it is much harder to get ADRs but not impossible. Being that you're over the 90 day out start calling WDW-DINE evey day and ask if any ARDs are freed up. Also if you go on off-hours at the parks without ADRs you should still be able to get in (many times people don't show because they just can't get there - stuck in another park or in transport).

If you don't mind going somewhere out of the Parks Cat Cora's new place is opening up (I believe its at the Boardwalk) and we were able to get ADRs there calling last week (and we're also going in Sept.

Also - we've done WDW about 9 times in the past 7 years and have only done table service a few times (maybe 1-2 times a trip) the rest of the time we do counter service. Its been a blast - you don't need ADRs to have a wonderful time in Disney.

Good luck

And don't forget to check the canceled ADR's thread. We took a last minute trip in May, 1 wks notice, and we were able to get all of the ADR's we wanted w/ my persistence. I called Disney Dining every day, sometimes twice a day and I constantly checked on here for canceled ADR's. Also when I was at WDW, I would call dining every night to see if anything had opened up. And even managed to get our DD into a last minute princess dinner.

Good for you. You are not alone in this kind of story. I was laid off from a very good job back in November and it looked like we would have to cancel a trip. Yes, it was a tough winter, but we made due, tightened the belts and had spagetti and frozen pizza a lot.

My wife and I have the same attitude you do, our children are only young once and times at WDW are some of the most magical times they will ever have.

Needless to say, we kept the faith and had a WONDERFUL ten-day trip this past April, and we WILL go again early next year. Most of the time the planning, researching and anticipation are half the fun!!!

Thank you for the encouragement! I am kicking myself because over the last couple months I have deleted at least 4 pin numbers from my email. If I call will they be associated to my name. At least one of them?

Yes, they should be.

Also check online for ADR's. Sometimes you can find opening there.

Definitely call as those PIN's would still be associated with your name and should be used (depending upon availability) if they have not been expired. As for ADR's go online...I was shocked at how many were still available. Have fun and try to relax.

I called and I did have a free dining pin. She quoted me $1,612.63 for 6nights/6day park hopper free dining at POP for Sep. 9-15. If we upgraded to DxDDP it was $2045.60. That doesn't sound bad to me. How does that sound to you?

We planned ours "last minute" as far as Dis planning goes too. My FIL decided in July he would pay for us to go to the world, and we found the DDP overlapping with SW airlines 48 hour sale. I got almost all of my ADRs first try, and the others I kept trying until I got them. I didn't get bfast at CRT, but I think we'll enjoy dinner there in the evening. You can do it! It will be nuts and crazy, but you can pull it off. :-) Don't give up! And keep watching your email. I'm glad I did, we got the upgrade from value to deluxe villa.

Hun, if someone handed me plane tix and Disney Reservations (or a big pile of cash) and said I was leaving tonight we would be on that plane and would have a great time!

This thread has some great advice for you. Please take a look at it. :)

If the ADR's dont work out, there are other options, don't let that ruin what could be a wonderful first trip. Remember, you will never be able to do everything you want in one trip, unless it is about a month long. Relax and enjoy the wonderful time you will have with your family!
