I need lots of help!! We are leaving for wdw on March 26 and I know it is going to be very crowded. Please tell me any tips you have on the parks. I need help on how to use fast pass(when to get them , when to get next one etc.) Which parks are better on which day and time?

Please tell me anything you can on how to best plan our trip.
There are ages 65 to 2 going but I am focusing on our 12 to 9 year olds.

Thanks for your help

OK, now that you're overwhelmed..... relax. :flower:

Take a deep breath. Realize that there is absolutely no way to see everything so your vacation isn't ruined of you don't see every last thing. However, as long as you don't push the kids or yourselves too hard, it's almost impossible to have a bad vacation at WDW. Find a few things each person really wants to do, but don't kill yourselves trying to be everywhere all at once.

My last 2 trips were with DD(now 7) and we sure didn't do everything. We still have memories to last a lifetime and that's what it's really all about. Even if we never went back and never got to do the things we missed, we'd still be happy as a Mouse. :cloud9:

Here is all the information on the Fast Pass and how it works. I hope this helps!

What is FASTPASS??
FASTPASS is Disney's innovative system to help reduce long waits at popular attractions. It was introduced in 1999 and has been very successful.

Can Anyone Take Advantage of FASTPASS?Absolutely! Any park guest can use FASTPASS. You do NOT have to have any special tickets or be staying at a Disney resort hotel. FASTPASS is available to EVERYONE.

How Much Does FASTPASS Cost?
FASTPASS is included in your admission to the park. There is NO extra charge to use the system.

How does it Work?
When you approach a FASTPASS Attraction you will see 2 clocks. The first one will tell you how long the normal wait time is, if you got in line right then. The other clock tells you what time you should return if you got a FASTPASS ticket now.
Go to the FASTPASS ticket machine and insert your admission ticket. EACH PERSON NEEDS A FASTPASS TICKET! Out comes your FASTPASS indicating what time frame you may return to the attraction. You are given a time frame, or "window," and may return during that period. Note that for some attractions, like Honey I Shrunk the Audience (Epcot) and the Little Mermaid Show (Disney MGM-Studios), there is only a 10-15 minute window.

Once your FASTPASS time has arrived, return to the attraction and get in the line for FASTPASS holders! Be sure to have your ticket out and ready to show the Cast Member. Further along in the waiting area, a Cast Member will actually take your FASTPASS ticket.

Even if you only want to see the Pre-Show and have no intentions of getting on the ride/attraction -- if you want to go with your party through the FASTPASS line you WILL need a FASTPASS!

Persons doing the Child Swap -- Each of you and your child NEEDS a FASTPASS ticket! EXCEPTION: If you child is under 3 and was admitted to the park for free, you do not need a FASTPASS ticket for them.

CONGRATULATIONS!WDW IS AWESOME!First of all,if you can,go get a WDW guidebook and read, read, read! My favorite is Birnbaum's Official Guide.I got the 2005 edition Saturday and it was $16.95 plus tax,I believe. It is money well spent,ESPECIALLY for a first trip!My basic tips are to arrive at park opening and do as many attractions as possible early before it begins to get really crowded around 11:00.At MK go STRAIGHT to Fantasyland as soon as MK opens. If you are staying on-property,take advantage of EMH as much as possible.Use Fastpass whenever you can-I believe the window before you can get another one is two hours, but I am not certain.I think because you are going during a holiday,ALL parks will be crowded EACH day.BUT,there will be great, extended hours and there will be a few attractions open that are not normally open.Welcome to the DIS and feel free to ask any questions big or small!HAVE A WONDERFUL WDW VACATION! :)

Hi and Welcome to the DIS!
Ask any specific questions you have on the appropriate boards and you will get your answers.
As others have stated....RELAX......
WDW is way to big to get everything in so make a plan and have fun. Make sure to enjoy the wonderful restaurants througout the resort. Go to allearnet.com and click on dining and menus. Also check out the info on moussaver.com
The best part about a trip to WDW is that you can always go back. As all of us on this site understand!

I found the best thing to do is remember it is a vacation and there is no way you will be able to see evrything even though the urge is there. On our first visit we hit the parks 90 miles an hour trying to hit every attraction and we did see alot but by the end of the day we were so tired that the dreaded crankies set in.Relax a bit see all that you can and be sure to stop and smell the roses , after all they are Disney roses and it may be awhile before you get back.

Have a good trip, but ages 2-65 is a broad range of folks to keep happy :earsboy: I think you are smart to focus on the 9-12 year olds. The others need to know they can split away from the group if need be. :)

I read on another thread someone just got back, and said it was very crowded - Disney did EMH (extra magic hour) every morning - so they got up and at the MK at 6:50AM, did most all the rides in the 2 hours it took others to get there, the kids felt they completed their rides by noon!! (Even got to ride twice the Indy speedway ride, that one is usually a long line, no fast passS!) :wizard:
