This is probably an easy one for most of you all but how do you enlarge clipart without it getting disorted?

The only program I'm using is Paint. I'm seriously thinking of upgrading but don't want to spend that much money on software.

But any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

If you enlarge a graphic, it will become more pixalated. It is far better to find large clipart and shrink it down to fit your needs. I do not believe there is any way to make something larger and still keep it's high resolution. Anyone?

I have to agree with amy.
best thing to do is find big graphics or wallpapers and use the part of the wallpaper that you want :)
I do sometimes enlarge clipart but that is mostly by 10 or 20 percent and then sharpen it, but that is in paintshop.
Dont have any idea how that would work in paint..

you can convert it to a larger image...but it requires all sorts of advanced capabilities..i.e vector, raster etc. Some day I hope to be able to do it...if I ever get the time to learn and the money to invest in the programs...

Thanks for the replies. I went ahead and bought Photo Impact 11. I'm hoping that is what I need. Hopefully it won't be too hard to understand and use. Thanks again yall!!!!
