Help Needed re: Nintendo DS Lite *DON'T WORRY - DEEDEE'S POST HAS ANSWERED QUESTION*

Sorry if I sound dumb, but if we buy one in the US, does it still play games bought in the UK? Are there any configuration differences we should know about?

They are a little bit cheaper in the US so far as I can see, but the main reason for buying one there would be that a pink one is coming out soon that DD will love, and I can't find anywhere that says it will be available in the UK anytime soon.

pink isnt available in the UK till october, but games should be fine, unlike dvds they aren't regional, more universal.
