If you no longer have the same email as your Myspace or remember your password, how do you go about deleting your Myspace?

There were many college kids here this weekend and now because they are in college and no longer use a Myspace, but rather a facebook, some are looking to delete their Myspace. A little irresponsible, but I'm not looking to judge in this all new ditigital world we live in.

So I offered to help find out. A gluttton for punishment I guess.

The only thing I can think of is to put your old email back into place (if you can) and say you forgot your password and see if you receive it, so that you can get into Myspace and delete it. Someone said it did not work for them.

Any ideas???

All ideas appreciated???

Your idea seems reasonable. I suppose it is silly to ask why they deleted their email addresses, so I won't, but if you want to answer I won't object. The myspace account will stay on forever, they never ever delete unused accounts. It is a pain in the butt, but its their server, not mine.

You could send an email to myspace and inquire there. They may be able to instruct you better.

No, not a silly question at all. They went away to college and received new email address and I guess they just assumed they didn't need the old one.

Ya know they set these Myspaces up when in middle school or high school and life goes on and they don't think of the ramifications of giving up an email address or forgetting a password or BOTH!

I think unless they remember their old e-mail addresses, they are SOL.
