Hmmmm, strange. We went in March to the Dixie Stampede in Orlando. They did give us silverware and although it was dim, we could easily see what we were eating. I had smuggled in plastic cutlery but didn't need it. They did offer on the phone, (I bought through them directly as they were doing a special for kids free) on whether my youngest would prefer a childs meal, but I declined. And, they did offer us complimentary beer and wine which we enjoyed with dinner. They free poured it from pitchers. So, I don't know if it differs on location.
I'm glad I saw the show once, but it did start dragging on and I was ready for it to be over. The horses are beautiful and it was a treat to be able to see them outside before and after the show. The food was very good.
We all agreed that we enjoyed Arabian Knights better for the show, but it was the worst food, really icky! We enjoy horses the most and that was the focus of Arabian Knights. It was a fantastic show, if you like horses.
I think Dixie Stampede was worth it for a one time visit. Ticketmania has discount prices on show tickets, also the Dixie Stampede website occasionally runs specials.
