This is our second trip to disney, this time we will be bringing our 2 sons 9 and 11 and our daughter whos never been , 3. I was told I can make our reservations online at midnight for our October stay. I have looked at all the restaurants and they all just run together now, I really need help!! We are definatley doing Cinderellas Breakfast, other than that I do not know:headache: We plan on visiting all of the parks, will be there 7 days, please could you suggest your favorite restaurant at each park, we would like some character dining, but good food dining also, as for the characters, the princesses, Ariel especially and if theres anything with Hannah Montana. TIA for ANY help!!! We are staying at the Dolphin.

Thinking about kids ages, I have these ideas (my daughter is 9 and been going there since she was born.)

MK
just go counter service unless you are hot to get into Cinderella's Royal Table

EPCOT
Japan's Teppan Edo - kids love to watch the chef cook in front of them

HS
50s Prime Time (a good waiter makes it extra fun)
Hollywood & Vine if they like Little Einsteins (Watch out for June, see my tag)

AK
Rainforest Cafe, otherwise just go with Flame Tree counter service

DTD
Rainforest Cafe
T-Rex (dinosaurs!)
(and try counter service Earl of Sandwich, imho a bargain and great)

Resorts
Contemporary - Chef Mickey's character buffet
Polynesian - Kona Cafe - good selection, good at breakfast too
Wilderness Lodge- WHispering Canyon is great for kids
Beach Club - Cape May Clambake buffet if someone likes clams, plenty for everyone else too

Upscale Splurges
Fulton's Crab House is a favorite of our daughter's, believe it or not

That's my best list off the top of my head, if you have specific things the family likes to eat I might have other ideas.

The kids like "kid food"- chicken, mac and cheese, pizza and such, we like seafood, salads, steakhouses, and asian dishes??

I think the kids pretty much get kid-type food everywhere, so you've got to book based on what you like and what you want as far as atmosphere. We've got two daughters, 3 and 1, and we've booked a variety...Akershus, 50's Prime Time, Play n' Dine at Hollywood and Vine, California Grill, Coral Reef (they LOVE to look at fish), Crystal Palace, and probably some I've left out! We picked a couple of buffets, not just for the characters, but for the ability to have food and keep them occupied as soon as we sit down:rotfl:!

I agree with most of the above. I would maybe try Yak and Yeti at AK and not Rainforest. More unique and special to Disney--there are Rainforests in alot of places. Flame Tree is good tho for more casual dining.

We really like the Crystal Palace buffet in MK--Pooh characters.

Our kids (now 5 & 7) love the following:

MK: Crystal Palace for breakfast.
Cosmic Rays for CS.

Ak: Tusker House Breakfast (this is our fav. character meal!)
Pizzafari and/or Flame Tree for CS.

Epcot: Teppan Edo (we all LOVE it) - Coral Reef (also a family favorite)
Sunshine Seasons for CS

DHS: We enjoy both Prime Time and Sci Fi. The atmosphere, food & service
has been excellent at both.

DTD: Trex (it is loud!) but our kids loved the atmosphere & food.
WPE or Earl of Sandwich for CS.

Resorts: Chef Mickeys for breakfast.
1900 Park Fare for dinner.
Whispering Canyon for dinner.
Ohana for dinner.

You're staying at the Dolphin...be sure to make a trip over to Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club for lunch or just for some ice cream! Have fun!

I would recommend Crystal Palace for lunch with Pooh and friends or 1900 Park Fare for breakfast with Mary Poppins and friends!

I have 2 9 year old boys. Their favorite restraunts are Sci-Fi and 50's Prime Time @ the Studios...they love the eating in the car, cheesy movies at Sci-Fi and the loud and funny antics at 50's. They also love the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wildnerness Lodge for the obnoxious antics there too. My son was loving standing up and yelling for stuff.....something he'd be severely punished for anywhere else....:lmao: At Epcot they like Le Cellier because they have steak on the kids menu. We are also going to Coral Reef for the first time this year and I know even if they aren't fans of the food the aquarium will keep them happy.

They love the Rainforest Cafe and while a lot of people say to skip it because it's not "disney exclusive"...it is to us. Not a RFC within 180 miles of us, just at Disney. We are also doing T-Rex this year as well. We were there about 2 weeks before it opened last fall.

They are happy at any character meal (no princesses please!) We've done Crystal Palace, Ohana and Garden Grill. This year we are tryingTusker House and Chef Mickey (yes we've never been to Chef Mickey's before).

BTW, for online ADR's you can begin making them at 6am EST the day your 90 day window opens, not at midnight. Though after that you can access it 24/7. I've made more than one ADR or cancellation late at night.

regards
