Hey guys,
In need of some stroller recommendations.....I need a good, sturdy, lightweight stroller for my two year old....I have decided to bring my own into the parks and am needing a good stroller, that is easy to carry around and has some good, decent space also....Please help me out.....I don't want to spend a whole lot, however, I am willing to make an investment into a really good stroller, Thanks everybody, I truly appreciate any advice you could give me.

I am going to bump this, as I am curious about stroller for DD5. We have a stroller, not very compact to ride on buses however. DH and I are debating on whether or not a cheap umbrella stroller will be hard to push? Any suggestions?? A compact, easy to push stroller for a 35 lb little girl??

I have the Pliko P3 by Peg Perego and I love it! It is very lightweight, yet still feels *sturdy*. I had a Combi before and I love this stroller so much more! It folds very easily, and has a handle to carry it when folded. The seat is nicely padded and very comfortable for my DD who is almost 20 months. It is very easy to maneuver, too. The seat reclines fully, and the sunshade pulls all the way down for when the child is sleeping, which is nice. I love the separated handles, because you can hang so many shopping bags on them. The basket underneath is okay, not too huge, but then again it's much bigger than the Combi I had. I would highly recommend this stroller. It is more of an investment at about $280ish for a 2005 model, but you may be able to get a better deal on a 2004 model online if you look around. Oh, also there is a foot rest on the back where an older child can stand and ride. I hope that helps! :)

I just got a Combi Strolee at www.target.com for $29.99 plus s&h. Put it together in about two seconds! It seems to have a nice adjustable recline and even though it doesn't look it, its an umbrella stroller. I got it for DS, but tested it out with DD 3 1/2 who weighs 36 lbs and is 40 inches tall. I had no problem pushing her. It has a small underneath basket and a front bar that is removable OR it also justs folds right up! The shade seems okay, but we'll see if we can get DS to sit back in it! He's the type to learn waaaaay forward -doesn't want to miss a thing! That and his bald head is why he has to wear a wide brimmed hat at all times! Being that DS is probable my last baby I couldn't afford to invest in a Maclaren or Peg Pergo, but I've heard great things about them.

I have a DS4 and DD3 i had to get a double.I decided to invest in a Mac because they are both large kids and I have already gone through 2 other double strollers.Macs have a higher weight limit than other strollers.

Another good inexpensive very ligthweight stoller is the Chicco Caddy umbrella stroller. You can get them at Target for around $50. They are light, compact, have a canopy, and a slight recline.

I vote for the Maclaren volo. It is lightweight has a basket (small but useable) and it holds my 6 yr old at 49 pounds and still pushes and turns like a dream.

The Combi Savvy Soho was a dream for our almost 2 year old at WDW last year. We bought it just for the trip. It was comfortable for him, it pushed very well and it was so lightweight and compact that it was great for the busses. The carrying strap was another plus. We tried out lots of stroller before our trips and this was by far the best one for us. :)

Whatever you get have the child try it first. I liked the Combis but when tried they were too narrow for my older child. Also the canopy was too low.
