Hi all,
I am getting married next year and my DF and I are Disney freaks so we of course are having a Disney themed wedding. We were thinking of using fast passes as the escort cards ( the ones that tell you where to sit). I was hoping to scan them in and then just delete the wording and change them to the persons name and table #. I currently have none (I think I have peter pans flight somewhere but I can not seem to find it). I was hoping if any Dissers will be in WDW or DL and if they were able to pick up an extra fast pass they could scan or send it to me.
We will be going in Sept but I think DF might put his foot down if I insist we spend most of our time there running around collecting fast passes (though I will if I have too :) )

These are the rides I need –
MK-Minnie and Mickey meet and Greet
Mickeys philharmagic
Jungle Cruise
Peter Pans Flight
Dumbo
Big Thunder Mountain
Splash Mountain
Stitch’s Great Escape
Buzz Light Year spin
AK-Kilimanjaro Safari
Kali River Rapids
Tough to be a bug
Expedition Everest
Dinosaur
Primeval Whirl
MGM (HS)-Indiana Jones
Lights Motor Action
Rock N Roller Coaster
Star Tours
Toy Story Mania
Voyage of the little mermaid
Epcot-Soarin
Living with the land
Test Track
Mission Space
Maelstrom

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Such a cool idea!! Have you considered contacting Disney to see if they might be able to help in some way? Even if they can only give you a few, it would save you lots of time!

No I didn't think of that. I swear I have bridal brain I don't think of the most obvious things. Thanks!

Here's a solution - you can get the fastpass card without the actual fastpass printed on it when it's within the window of your active fastpass, in other words, you'll get a "denied" fastpass card, so it would still have the artwork on top. Would that work? I could get those for you in 3 weeks.

Oh I didn't realize it does that if that is the case I can get them all in Sept.

I have a Mission Space one we didn't use on our trip last year that I could scan and send to you. :)

Thanks but I think I am going to do what sharadoc said and that way I don't need to be a bother anyone.

Thanks for the offer though!

Looks like joe1946 has given you the answer to your problem. You can use those Google images to make your cards very easily.

OP - Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I think your idea of using Fast Passes is a great one. I just hope the copyright lawyers don't have a problem with it. :confused3

Yes it would be better to get real ones and scan them. This way they will all be the same resolution and quality.

Google would be the second best option but you can't always get nice higher res images.

You may not even have to scan your cards. I have seen extra FP's all the time on top of machines from people who don't now how FP's work.

Just keep in mind that for a ride like TSM if the FP's are gone the machines are covered up and there is no way to get even a "Sorry you can't get a FP at this time FP". I don't even think a CM could help you.

Good Luck

I already looked into the copyright laws when we were doing our invitation and the woman who are making them assured me it was fine for what we were doing.

Yeah I think what I am going to do is find as many as I can on Google (thanks joe1946) and then when I go there get as many as I can. So hopefully between the parks and the internet I can get all the ones I need.

I imagine since you aren't using them for any commercial or for-profit purposes, you are okay with your plan. Have fun! :thumbsup2
