Search the Disneyland forum and you should find all the info and tips you need.
September is a great time to go, as most kids will have just begun school.
Make sure you watch Fantasmic at Disneyland and if you're going to California Adventure as well, don't miss World of Color!

September is a great time to go.:thumbsup2 Some of the nicest weather but it can be hot during the day (100+) and the Santa Ana winds may be a factor. However, except for a few exceptions, no matter how hot it is in the day, the evenings will cool down. As much as 20-30 degrees, or more.

Crowds-not too bad early in the month but as it gets closer to Halloweentime the park starts to get busier. Take advantage of as many FP as you can. Grab them in the a.m. and use them later in the day/evening.

Annual Pass Holders will be able to go to DLR during most of your visit. Some are blocked on Sat. others are blocked Sat./Sun. Friday will probably be busiest (in the evening)

What not to miss-a lot!
Aladdin (if still here)
Fantasmic!
World of Color
Celebrate!

and most of the rides.
