Help!! Need good advice.................

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone that posted in this thread. Your support has been touching. This really is the nicest boards on the net. I have come across some of the nicest and most giving people that I have never met before! !!!! I got so much good advice. I did use alot of it and took many of the replys to heart. Now it is time to get past this and move forward and continue helping my parents plan their dream vacation. I showed my MIL (she goes home in the am) the website of the home that my parents rented for the WDW trip. She got sooooo excited! She could not believe how nice it was (staying at Windsor Hills). She had a good time with my mom today talking about WDW plans and all the fun things we will be doing. The only thing is my MIL does not want me to tell my mom what has happened between SIL and us. She is very dissapointed in how her son and DIL acted. I don't blame her. I talk to my mom everyday and will try my hardest not to tell her. I want to keep a good relationship with my MIL. Well, thank you all again! You are all wonderful people!

I hope you work things out. This is exactly why no one on Df's side of the family knows we are going. I was thinking of letting dd spill the beans because i know she's excited but after reading this maybe i'll wait till it gets closer. This is our first family trip. DD has never been on a plane or out of the state. She's never stayed in a hotel longer than 2 nights(SIL graduation). My biggest fear is if df's family knows they will plan to go and since theres time to save it could happen. I put to much time and effort into this trip for my dd and dont want it ruined. Going with others would be hard because everyone wants to take control. I paid lots of money for this trip for someone else to tell me what will will do and eat. Df knows how i feel about this and agrees this is our trip.

Best advice : Peoblems with my family , I take care of it.
Problems with Df's family he deals with it.

It is easier for your own family to forgive you then the inlaw

good luck. Maybe you'll get lucky and airfare will be way to expensive. Dont mention ding-lol!
