Help!! Need Easy Costumes for Adults

We are going to the MNSSHP. My daughter has a great Ariel costume that we picked up at WDW last May. However, DH, my sister and myself need a great costume. I really don't want to spend $100 on each of our costumes, but I want something cute and original. Does anybody know of a great make-yourself Halloween website.

I wasn't that original but last year I went as a Mousketeer from the Annette Funicello era. I got a plain white turtleneck, put my name on the front using iron-on letters from a craft store, put on my mouse ears and voila, instant costume.

I did the same for my then 11 month old son and husband. I guess technically I should have worn a skirt but we all just wore dark pants. We got a lot of compliments on our terribly simple yet easily recognizeable costumes.

The best non-disney cheapie costume I saw was a woman in a black trash bag and straw hat the said "California"(you culd also say Sunmaid).....A raisen. Very cute.

I heard about someone going as a park hopper guy. That seems easy enough.

Since you've got Ariel, why dont the rest of you go in swim gear with snorkles.

Someone posted on another thread about affordable costumes, so this is their idea, not mine.

Go as a tourist. Wear a silly hawaiian shirt, shorts, knee socks and sandals, straw hat, zinc nose, camera. Most of these things you should have at home already, but hopefully you don't wear themm all together...lol. You can dress the whole family to match.
