I have been mulling this over for more than a week now and I still cannot decide! We will be staying at AKL for my DBF's 36th birthday. I cannot decide where to have his birthday dinner at! He wants to be surprised so I have to decide.

It will be just the 2 of us...I can't even decide if we should do something romantic, or something fun...we love it both ways! I had considered 'Ohana, Cali Grill, V & A, Hoop, Le Cellier, Prime Time...

Any suggestions for a great BD dinner celebration for two adults?

Thanks!

My DBF took me to Cinderella's Royal Table for my 22nd Birthday, and it was great. We had a table right by the window and our desert arrived right when Wishes started! If that seems a little too girly, I would go with Ohana's or Boma. I have been to both several, and I like Ohana's a little more, because they bring the food to you! I tell everyone that they need to go to Ohana's

DH and I stayed there for his 35th birthday. We ate at Le Cellier for his birthday dinner and it was delicious. His 2nd favorite from that trip was 'ohana. Just as we finished the main part of dinner, wishes started and we'd scored a window side seat.

The buffet at the african themed hotel (I'm flaking on names right now) next to animal kingdom is amazing (if you want buffet), but I'm also a huge fan of the Derby which is a very very classy calm adult place.

I am going to Boma for my 50th birthday. The food is very good and a little different and the AKL is beautiful. I also LOVE to eat and use my birthday as a major excuse to indulge so all you can eat is a really fun way for me to do a birthday. And a restaurant like Boma is still special even though it is a buffet.

Hi Queen,
Last year I took my DBF to Disney for his birthday. Everything was a surprise, he didnt know where he was going until we were boarding the plane. I wanted to plan every little thing I could for him as this was his first trip there and the place that I thought he would love most was the Japan restaurant in Epcot center. I dont know if you have ever been there before but if you havent its really awesome. You share a table with other people but its great. They cook right in front of you and the food is amazing. If you make your reservations late enough you can go right outside to the deck and watch the illuminations show. Its a wonderful view for the show.

If you are looking for something more for just the two of you, I recommend going to French or Italian place in Epcot. They are both really nice as well.

Hope you have a wonderful time and Happy Birthday to him! :cake: :bday:

Staying at AKL he would probably expect Jiko, so go to V&A, especially if you have never been there before.
